Groupset Repair & Disc Brake Servicing
It would be fair to say that groupset technology has evolved more in the last 10 years, than it had in the previous 100. Hydraulic disc brakes, 13 speeds, and electric wireless shifting all mean modern groupsets barely resemble what was commonplace only a few years ago.
This also means maintaining a modern road or gravel bike requires a garden shed that resembles a Formula 1 workshop!
A workshop owned by a cyclist, for cyclists.

Groupset Repair & Maintenance
Considering you change gear hundreds of times an hour, its hardly surprising the groupset is the part of your bike that needs the most maintenance. But with all the advances in shifting technology, things have got a bit on the tricky side!
Whether you've got Shimano Sora, and fully wireless SRAM ETAP, we can get that groupset dancing through the gears!

Disc Brake Servicing
For most road and gravel riders here in the UK, the disc brake has dramatically improved braking performance. However, faulty systems have also dramatically increased blood pressure!!
Common disc brake issues include warped or buckled rotors, sticking pads, or squealing caused by contamination. The good news is, proven cleaning methods, specialist chemicals, and good old-fashioned experience can usually repair the worst of offenders!

Disc Brake Bleeding
Compared to their mechanical counterpart, hydraulic disc brakes offer superior braking performance, and modulation. However, hydraulic systems require occasional maintenance.
A sure sign that your hydraulic brakes need bleeding is excessive lever travel, spongy braking, or poor braking performance. At The Cycle Workshop, we cater for all systems, including Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo, and Wheeltop.
